Review
I watched the first few episodes on nextflix but it’s not in English so I opted to go with the manga to check it out because the complete series exists instead of just season one. This is my first manga so I don’t really have any prior experience to base it off when it comes to the art or story. I like the art it’s not over complex when it comes to telling the story it seems to work for the gritty horror story. So far the story while is well developed it’s easy to get lost turning the pages.

The Eighth installment has us back inside the wall after barely escaping with their lives and having failed to capture the female titan. Eren has his chance to prove that he can be an asset to the survey Corps but failed in his fight against the female because she’s clearly superior in her skills.  Armid has an idea who is the female titan putting into place a plan to capture her but when she doesn’t want to play by the rules transforming into the titan they discover something else hidden within the city that no one expected.

I enjoyed volume 8 had some shock factor I totally did expect out female titan to be one of the people that they knew. I honestly expected it to be a normal citizen but I guess with the fighting skills it makes sense. I like that Armin is growing as a character now I just hope that Eren gets his act together the next time he fights a human controlled titan. I’m not a huge horror fan but I’m really enjoying Attack on Titans it’s like a zombie dystopian blood horror manga. Granted it’s my first manga series but I can tell already it won’t be my last. So far I’m really enjoying the way the series is going and can’t wait to finish. I very well could spend the next day finishing off the series because I’m hooked. It just keeps getting better and better as the manga progress.
