Synopsis

When spunky teen Rinnie is forced to bust out her secret Psi Fighter moves in school in order to bring downs its drug ring, she encounters a deeper plot…and a more sinister danger.

My name is Rinnie Noelle.

By day I'm just another girl in high school who likes lip gloss. But by night I'm a Psi Fighter—a secret guardian with a decade of training in the Mental Arts. Kinda like Batman, but without the cape.

Bad guys beware.

After screwing up my first mission, I'm now supposed to fix the problems at my school. Major, fly-catching yawn. Sure, drugs are bad, but what crime fighter wants to put bullies in detention when she can save the world from nefarious villains?
’Cause I will take you out.
But things heat up fast. Now I have two guys into me—yummy new kid, Egon, and my old nemesis-turned-nice-guy, Mason. Plus, word on the street is that a Walpurgis Knight, the Psi Fighter's worst enemy, has infiltrated the school. And everyone is a potential suspect, even Mason and Egon. Darn. Fingers crossed I find the Knight before he finds me...

Review
I received Psi Another Day in return for an honest review as part of the tour hosted by YA Bound. Rinnie isn’t like normal girls in school she’s a Psi Fighter which means she’s a superhero in training. She uses her psychic abilities to create weapons, her extensive hand to hand combat training, and Andy’s gadget’s to get the job done. Her secret identity is really important if it was to get out it could be detrimental so she wears a mask as well as armor that is stronger than Kevlar. Only one person knows her secret Kathryn that she’s a Psi Fighter.

Rinnie is still in training but she’s be assigned the drug ring that’s been happening at her school as well as to stop the bullying. It’s hard for her to stop the bully when she’s also being bullied and can’t use her psi powers without revealing herself. Even though she’s assigned the drugs Rinnie would rather be working the big case with Andy and even gets the chance but in her excitement blows the mission. Agreeing to work on the drugs at school she dives deeper learning that it’s more than just drugs and setting her on a deadly path that she may not survive.

I liked Rinnie right from the start she’s a super hero with a tortured past losing her parents at an early age and surviving high school is bound to be tough. She’s smart learning from her mistakes, growing as the book progresses which I really enjoyed plus she’s kick ass. I loved Kathryn right from the start she’s the beautiful girl who doesn’t act like a stuck up snob. She even is interested in the nerdy guy for his mind which I thought was awesome.

I’ve only read a few superhero books so the concept for Rinnie’s story I found unique and exciting. The book is loaded with action, suspense, secrets, mystery and a touch of romance. I found Psi Another Day to be a captivating story right from the start, it was hard to put down because I wanted to see what would happen next to Rinnie. The book is a mystery that keeps the reader guessing, I was on the edge of my seat thinking it was one person only to be shocked to find out how wrong I was. I love a mystery that can trick me.  I think the author has done a great job creating a story that teens as well as adults will enjoy. I felt the characters are well written you get know them even connecting with a few of them. I enjoyed Psi Another Day it was a fun read that I suggest anyone who likes super heroes should check out. I see potential for another book and would be interested in reading more about Rinnie’s adventures as a psi fighter.
4 out of 5 stars

He has put his research on hold to document the adventures of a girl whose face he’s never seen and whose real name he’ll never know.
