Filo is the only human living among the Saurs he's even been raised by Mai who is a Saur and rescued him from ship wreckage. When his existence is found out he's forced to run fleeing with his Saur friends they end up on Earth. They have an adventure that will bring them new friends and uncover secrets which could change everything.
I love Filo he's such a great character you can't help cheering him on through the whole whirlwind adventure. I found Hex and Datou they are the perfect edition to the rag tag team they just accepted Filo even though they are Saur. Jade rounded out our little team she's a character after my own heart taking Filo to In and Out for burgers. It's our go to place especially for out of town family and friends who visit. When they went to In and Out I almost caved and went for burgers for dinner too.
I ended up devouring Saur in just one afternoon it's a action packed adventure that kept me on my toes till the very last page. The author has created such a unique story with dinosaur giving them a fresh new story that almost has you wondering if why not. I loved the characters they all just fit together so well and stole a little place in my heart. This is the authors debut novel and I think she blew it out of the water by such a beautiful story that I'm obsessed with. The author has also added stunning artwork throughout the story. Highly recommend if you are looking for a ya fantasy Suar is a must read. I can't wait till the next one comes out it's living rent free in my head.
