Happy Sunday Funday!
The weather has been super amazing I wish the whole summer would be just like this but I know it's only going to get worse. The mornings are cool we can open the windows and enjoy the breeze and the afternoons are nice and hot. It starts cooling off in the evenings so that the windows can be open all night. Even the hot weather we are getting in the upper 80's to mid-90s. In my opinion, it's the perfect summer weather. I'm sure it's only a matter of days before we are back in triple digits and it not cooling off at all.
Since it's the 2nd week off from school the kids and I decided to enjoy a nice quiet week. I'm starting the classes that I signed up for this week. So while they enjoy a nice lazy summer I'll be the one working hard on school but at least it's online classes so I'll still have the flexibility to run wild with them as we enjoy the California summer.
My week is busy my to-do list for the week that I'm working on is long. I may have an addiction when it comes to lists. I've got a new bullet journal for the new year to set up, as well as a new reading journal set up I want to try. I've been sitting on the fence if I wanted to continue with a bullet journal or planner for the new year.
My reading is slowly getting back into the groove one day at a time. I'm taking part of two Goodreads challenges a Bingo team and a Bachelor game. Each week I have to read a book but the Bachelor challenge will push me to read more romance novels. Of course this week I picked one for both so I can finish a couple on my kindle that I've been wanting to read.

Crafty projects & Baking/cooking & Gardening
I dragged out a couple of crochet projects that I want to attempt to finish this week. I'm hopeful that I should be able to finish at least one of them a hood with ears. I'll be sure to post a picture next week.
One of my favorite quotes. I actually tattooed it on my forearm with one of my good friends. I need more bookish tattoos.
Summer Coyer is in full swing be sure to sign up and join in. (here)
Ordered a Teami cup it's perfect for sipping tea.
I’d be lost without my lists, and my planner :)
ReplyDeleteHave a great reading week, good luck with the challenges
Hopefully you have a productive week and enjoy your classes. Bullet journals are so nice and I love making lists too. You know, it's funny, I used to be really unorganized and anti-list making but the older I get, the more keen on doing so I am.
ReplyDeleteI love lists! And I need them. I forget everything if it's not written down.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a good week!
