#DustOffYourBookshelf Thursday

#DustOffYourBookshelf Thursday
Dust off your Bookshelf was originally created to share books that have been on my “to read pile” for a long time. Some so long I’ve forgotten that they are there, and have purchased duplicate copies. Each week I will share on my blog as well as Instagram a new title. Some may be newer and some so old I have forgotten they are there. I do have issues with buying books and never reading them. I’m hoping that by share them I will be motivated to read them. Plus it’s always fun to find new books hiding within the bookshelves. Feel free to join in and share on Instagram or your blog. Just let me know so I can check out your choice this week too. Just use #DustOffYourBookshelf

This weekly makes me feel like a hoarder when it comes to books because deep down I really am. I have so many books that I keep adding to my shelves but they never end up getting read. I keep saying one day they will all be read.

I've been in a funk for a while. I'm working on reading books that have been on my shelf far to long. I've had this weeks book for over 6 months on my kindle. Now that the whole series is finished it's time to finish it off.

My book choice this week:
by Penny Winters

Opening Lines
WHAT THE FUCK was I thinking?
How could I let myself do such a thing?
I was worse than him. Worse than the monster who'd kept her.
“I'm done hurting her. She's been hurt enough. It's time I set her free...”

“I'm done hurting her. She's been hurt enough. It's time I set her free...”

Once upon a time, I wished to go home and forget.
Now, I’m strong and ready to fight.
Seduced and claimed, Elder no longer just demands my voice, he commands me to be a thief like him.
I refuse.
But he offers me things I shouldn’t want, favours I should run from.
In return for his protection, I’m ordered to steal enough pennies and dollars to buy back my freedom.
Only, we both aren’t prepared for how he changes me, evolves me.
And now it’s my turn to learn about him...

Feel free to dig through your shelves and share what you find.
Please leave a comment telling me where I can check it out.

  1. Sounds interesting! I actually like to wait before series are finished before starting, because I've run into quite a few that are just never finished! They leave off in a cliffhanger, which is the worst. Hope you enjoy this one when you get to reading it!
