The Sunday Post

The Sunday Post
Hosted by:

The Sunday post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer~ It's a chance to share new ~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

Ugh it's almost April already. I can't believe the month has flown by. I'm needing another week or two of March to get everything I had planned done.

The weather has been so wonky some days it's beautiful sunny the next it's rainy. I never know what to expect at the moment when I walk outside and have to check before I get ready to leave. It wasn't a very busy week but I ended up binge watching tv and working out a lot. I'm fine tuning my working out routine and then things will be back to normal.
I didn't get as much reading as I would have liked done this week. Just 2 novels and a manga which puts me at....

Currently 46 of 250 and 13 books behind which keeps growing.
So sad because for so long I was ahead only a few weeks ago.

Fun posts you may have missed at TRD this week.
Attack on Titan Vol 15 / Court of Vampires - Reviews to come a little slow this week.

Plus a bunch of freebies to many to mention.

Crafty projects & Baking/cooking
I just added a few rows to my temperature blanket nothing fancy. I'm trying to do it while I watch tv with the husband but it's slow going.
This past week my new pasta machine arrived and I had to give spinach pasta a try. I made noodles and tossed them with a few cooked shrimp and a little parmesan cheese. They turned out really good, and I can't wait to make pasta again. No game night this week so no cool desserts but I do have a couple of healthy recipes I want to try this new week.

Fitness
I've been trying to get back into shape but haven't been series till March. Two weeks ago my husband purchased an amazing treadmill that let's me workout at home and when it's convenient for me. I'm just walking to get back in the groove but soon enough I'll be running.
I had a great past week. Lots of steps and even won our challenge between my hubby and our friends for the first time. I'll hit 10k at least today just trying to get this post up early. I've been working on Big Girls Do It Running while my little one is reading fairy chapter books this week.

  6. I love seeing people's bullet journals. I have a regular planner but I love decorating it. :) I might try a bullet journal of sorts in the future - maybe for fitness and meal planning or something. It sounds like your own fitness is going well. That's awesome. I need it to stop raining so that I can try and start walking more again.

  7. Yum, I want some shrimp pasta now. I usually set my goal to 250, but this year set it to 275. I lowered back down to 250, that being x book's behind was making me loco. Now I am on target again. The weather has been crazy, I am ready for summer and flip-flops. Hope your week is amazing. I love the bullet journal, but use all digital everything anymore.

  8. You've reminded me I need to get my pasta machine out! I think I've used it once. The British Baking show always has me wanting to bake too and there's always stuff I don't recognize that I really want to try! I got Buns this week too and I'm so excited! This will be the first book I've read by Alice Clayton. Have a great week!

  9. I agree that the weather has been so crazy that it makes everything more difficult. It seems like everyone's sick because of it too.

  10. I want to read Tangled web and that cover is so wicked. The weather has been around 80 and mostly sunny here. The water is warming up and I have next week off so I intend to finish getting the pool ready and taking a dip. The big problem here is pollen. It's so thick since it didn't get cold enough for much of anything to die back.
