Brielle was expected to marry one of her fathers business associates son's but that didn't end up happening. Now his other son has come to claim her after one mind blowing night. Kane had planned to destroy Brielle's family but instead decides to go into business with her brothers and take her as his wife.
I loved Brielle and Kane they have this sizzling chemistry and it's sweet how he takes care of her and worries about her needs. I loved that we got to see characters from the prior book as they are some of my favorite couples. I think all the characters are great I felt like every couple I've falling in love with and been able to connect with.
While this series is a standalone the prior couples are part of the story and I suggest reading them in order. I ended up devouring this one in just one reading session I was hooked on the story right from the start. I'm a huge fan of the author's storytelling as I fall in love with new characters and every story. I think Brielle and Kane may be my favorite couple so far, because they just stole a little piece of my heart. I've loved all the authors books and she's on my autobuy list. If you are looking for a mafia romance highly recommend.
