He was just a dream, right?
When I was young, I often dreamt of an alpha boy. With him I belonged. I was important. Loved. We were going to marry and be together. Once I actually figured out how to get to him.
One morning I woke up on a park bench unable to remember my name or how I got there.
There was something not quite right about this place–and clearly I don’t belong here.
Then I saw him. The man of my dreams. My soulmate.
But we’re not teenagers anymore. Wes moved on, and has a successful career, a husband, and a pack. Whatever that was.
Still, the connection between us is undeniable and I fall hard for him and his pack. Especially his hunky omega husband and the delicious head of a biotech company.
As much as I’d like to stay here, the gaps in my memory threaten our happiness. How did I get to a parallel world and will someone come after me for it?
If they do, how much will it break me to have to leave Wes again?
A love that spans the universe. A second chance at romance. A secret she can't remember that could tear them apart. Again.
Dream Girl is a why choose omegaverse fated mates portal romance with a mathematician FMC from our world, the alpha of her literal dreams, a giant teddy-bear of a male omega, growly alpha packmates, a beta police officer, and a childhood love that spans the universe. This is book one of the Into the Parallel Omegaverse trilogy, which is ultimately m/m/m/m/f/m. Books One and Two end on cliffhangers with an HEA for Grace and her guys in Book Three.
Welcome to the Parallel Omegaverse. Because dreams aren’t real—until they are.
Note: This is Grace's story (Verity's rich big sister). It takes place before the HockeyVerse series and you do not have to read them to enjoy this trilogy.
My Review
I received Dream Girl in return for an honest review from the author.
I loved Grace right from the start she's the perfect character to be tossed into a parallel world that just happens to be the same place her dream guy Wes lives. He's already living in a pack and even has his own omega but instead of Grace creating issues with the pack Evan welcomes her with open arms. Evan is my favorite he's wonderful and I just loved his character. I also loved Jett and Spencer but Brennan still has some growing to do.
Omegavers stories are some of my favorite and this one was one of the best. The characters are easy to connect with you can't help cheering them on through the story even Brennan. The story is captivating right from the start it was easy to get lost in Grace's story and I couldn't put it down. The author has done a beautiful job creating a story that captures the heart as well as the imagination.
This isn't my first book by the author so I had some high expectations as I've loved all of the prior books that I've read. This one though has exceeded my expectations and set the bar to a whole new level. I ended up devouring over the weekend and loving every moment of it and I think if I could I would have tossed my kindle at the wall as this one ends in a huge cliffhanger. Totally worth the book hangover I'm now having. I'm just a tad bit obsessed and can't wait to get the next one in my grasp.
