The Sunday Post

The Sunday Post
Hosted by:

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer~ It's a chance to share new ~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

The weather has been crazy again this week it seems to not be able to make up it's mind. This week we hit triple digits half of the week, and then second half of the week it's in the upper 70's but with the wind so cold. The weekend has been cool and enjoyable from the start of the week.

It's been quiet here we finished the school year this week on to a long quiet summer. Stores have started to re-open this week finally. I'm worried that we've been in isolation for so long we lost our herd immunity.

I wanted to protest this week but due to so many aren't peaceful in California I've opted to stay home with my little one. I'm hopeful that this week start a change that is long overdo.

Read the last week
I haven't had much time for reading. I'm currently working on my current book and should be done today or tomorrow. Quarantine has my little one attached at my hip because she's bored all the time. I can't wait till we can get back to some form of normal. She's dying to play outside with her friends and have sleepovers.

  1. Weather was warm but not triple digits. I would melt! It was hot enough to know I am staying inside. Today however is gorgeous and the breeze is very cool! Had to take the dog for a walk to get out.

Our School isn't over until June 23rd and 25th, I sort of can't wait since they are so hard to wake up in the morning, now I can just let them sleep in.

I hope you have a wonderful week, Mandy! Happy Reading! xx

  3. Oh my - all the pretty books :) My daughter is 12-years-old and really wanted to protest, so we did go to the peaceful one in our small town in Michigan. I was being very alert, but everything stayed safe this time. Take care of you and yours, and enjoy your week!
