Top Ten Tuesday

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke And The Bookish. Now hosted over at That Artsy Reader Girl

Top Ten Reverse Harem books on my TBR

This week's question is a freebie. I decided to go with my TBR list for my new addiction the Reverse Harem concept.

1. Queen Takes Knight by Joely Sue Burkhart
A lost virgin vampire queen. Two vampire knights sworn to protect her.
It’s about to get very hot… and bloody…

Ever since her mother was murdered by monsters five years ago, Shara Isador has been on the run. Alone, scared, and exhausted, she’s finally cornered in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. Out of hope with nowhere else to turn, she’s ready to end it all when two men come to her rescue.

They say she’s a lost queen descended from Isis, and they’re her Blood, vampire knights sworn to protect her. It all seems like a crazy nightmare, until the alpha offers his blood. Then she realizes she’s never wanted anything more. Except maybe his body… and his friend’s, too.

But they’re not the only ones searching for a lost queen. Shara must learn how to wield her new powers quickly and conquer her fears if she intends to keep them all alive.

Um. Um. Um.
Are you reading this?
If you are, I need your help.

I was at a party; I was running; I fell.
And get this—this is the part you'll never believe—I fell down a rabbit hole.
Like Alice in those old books.

Except in those books, there wasn't blood everywhere.
In those books, the characters weren't all male, attractive, and interested in me.
Forget everything you know about the Mad Hatter, the White Rabbit, the March Hare …

This isn't Wonderland; this is Underland.
Violence, sex, drugs, and magic … that's all there is in this place.
There's me, Allison, and there are the men that want me, the enemies that hunt me, and the darkness that's quickly rolling in.

And only I can stop it.
So if you're reading this, will you help me?
Please. I just want to escape this place and go … home.

Willa Knight: Dweller. Slave. Non-magical being.

In Minatsol, being a dweller means that you are literally no better than dirt. In fact, dirt might actually be more useful than Willa. Her life will be one of servitude to the sols, the magic-blessed beings who could one day be chosen to become gods.

At least her outer village is far removed from the cities of the sols, and she won’t ever be forced to present herself to them... Until one small mistake changes everything, and Willa is awarded a position to serve at Blesswood, the top sol academy in the world—a position that she definitely did not earn.

Under the sudden, watchful eye of the gods, she will be tasked to serve the Abcurse brothers, five sols built of arrogance, perfection and power. They are almost gods themselves, and under their service she is either going to end up sentenced to death, or else they are going to ruin her so badly that she will wish for it.

Either way, she is in trouble.

I want vengeance so badly that I can almost taste it. It's all I've ever wanted. So, I did what any privileged, adopted boarding school girl would do. I slapped on a secret identity and became an internationally renowned thief, known as The Fox. Nobody knows me. Nobody can catch me.

Or so I thought...

It turns out; I have what they want. Special abilities. And trust me, these abilities are coveted--and dangerous. Now, I don't know who to trust or where to go. Peril lurks on every corner as I try to uncover my past and origin. Teaming up with unlikely allies may be my only chance at survival or my biggest mistake. Only time will tell.

I'm Kit Davenport and this is only the beginning.

I always knew I was different. I’d thought it had to be hidden - to stay a secret. I didn’t know my secret would become the key to my survival. Turning eighteen and getting accepted into college brings me everything I need to escape from the nightmares of my past but I never could have imagined my nightmares - and dreams - were just beginning. Finding myself thrown into a world of fantasy, politics, friendships, and rules that are nearly impossible to understand, I feel like I’m drowning in a world of shifters I never knew existed. As I struggle to find my place and prevent my nightmares from tearing me apart, I find myself surrounded by an unusual group of sexy men. With Hiro, Killian, Theo, Damien, and Ryder I’m trying to become the woman I’ve always wanted to be, if my past, and my future, will let me.

Two alien dragon shifters. Two vampires. A whole new world.
And I’m in the middle of it all.

One minute I’m a nineteen year-old woman trying to get through life and the next second I’m in space, charged with saving the human race on an alien planet.

Four men show up vowing to love and protect me … except they aren’t men at all, they're alien dragon shifters and vampires.

They say we’re mates. I say they’re crazy.

I’m charged with a mission: have their baby.

Um, how about no.

They say it’s destiny. I say I’m a long way from home!

Ending a war makes her a savior to some…but a target to others.

Video-gamer Jolie Bernardo hadn’t planned on ending a war when she moved to Jinla, but, fate stepped in and thrust her into the path of four sexy princes.

Now her dream to make a name for herself in the video game community is threatened, as Others are out for her blood.

When the four princes of Jinla inadvertently forge a bond with her, it draws and binds them to one another. Unfortunately for them, it now means abandoning their chances of pursuing females to focus on keeping her alive. But with a new battle on the horizon, Jolie will have to choose between her heart…and her life.

Tricky, like a fox.
As a kitsune--a fox shifter--I have to be to survive.
Sometimes it seems like the whole world wants me dead.
Ironic, considering that’s my job--to kill people.

Thea Hunt, professional assassin at your service.
But that’s not my only vice.
I’m also attracted to the darkest denizens of the supernatural world, the men I should run from instead of fall for. Men like Mikhail, the leader of the assassins guild, Barrett, the local alpha wolf, and Nix, the skinwalking coyote that’s likely to bring the entire shifter community to their knees. And then there are my exes--Riot and Fin.

Somebody’s killing off old gods, stripping shifters of their ability to change. And a trapped shifter doesn’t last long without losing their mind. Nix knows; Mikhail wants me to kill him; Barrett wants me dead. Oh, and Riot and Fin are determined to make my life a living hell.

As the youngest kitsune to ever get nine tails, I should be able to trick my way out of this one, right?
Right?!

Daughters Of Olympus is a five book, paranormal romance, reverse harem series:

Land. Sky. Sea. Underworld.
All four are at odds—and only the Daughters of Olympus can bring them together to save mankind.
They may have ancient blood coursing through their veins, but in their hearts they are everyday women struggling to survive who don’t know how to harness their potential.
And love is the last thing on their minds.
Nevertheless, the seductive men sent to guide them have no doubt in their ability.
It might sound good in theory … but these women don’t know one another, let alone their hidden talents.
Now they must rise up and claim their rightful place in history, with the men sworn to protect them.
The fight is on.

Life was good. I was tending bar, making enough to get by, paying my rent, and enjoying the occasional cocktail with my best gay boyfriend, Matty. And then I got the call.

One of my customers had passed. The one who we nicknamed “Grandpa,” who’d watch us for hours from his seat at the bar, sucking on the same beer, never leaving a tip.

For some reason the old coot left me his estate. Huh? He looked like the last person in the world to have an “estate.” Well, did your mother ever tell you not to judge a book by its cover?

And thanks to good old Grandpa, it looks like I may never have to work again.

But of course there’s a catch. There’s always a catch. I only get Grandpa’s money if I’m 25 years old (check), and married (not checked; not by a landslide). And--I only have 30 days to pull this off.

I didn’t see how I could make it happen, until four eligible bachelors waltzed into my life. Then, I had a whole different set of problems…

This hot, over-the-top romance involves four hot alpha dudes and a strong woman who gives them a run for their money. If you love outrageously naughty stories as a way to indulge your wildest fantasies, then this is for you.

What's on your list this week?
