Title: A Midwestern Cinderella
Author: Krista Lakes

Release Date: December 28, 2020

BLURB
Zoey is hardly what you'd consider princess material. Born in flyover country, she never learned how to curtsy, let alone walk in high heels. And when she literally trips into the arms of a handsome stranger at her friend's wedding, she thinks she's finally found love.

Freddie Prescott is a charming prankster. Despite his carefree attitude, he pursues Zoey with an intensity that shows he can be serious when he needs to be. And with those rock hard abs and rippling biceps, his pursuit of Zoey is a satisfying one. Without realizing it, Zoey finds herself falling in love.

There's only one problem: Freddie is a prince.

Spending a week without Internet access or phone reception has left Zoey in a weird predicament. He certainly left enough hints that he was rich and famous, but he never outright said it. And when the time comes for him to leave their vacation getaway, he asks her to come with him to the kingdom of Paradisa.

But Zoey can't use the right fork, put her pinkie up for tea, or any of the things expected of a princess. Plus, there are those in the kingdom who don't want an American close to the throne. How can she hope to keep Freddie's love if she's a stranger to his royal world?

NYT Bestseller Krista Lakes brings you this brand new sweet-and-sexy royal romance. This standalone novel will have you cheering for an American princess’s happily ever after.

BLURB

Well, if it isn’t Falcon Malone.
In the panty-dropping flesh.
My older brother’s best friend and subject of my every teenage fantasy.
He taught me how to kiss.
Then he walked away.
I tried to keep him buried in the past, but he’s been in every kiss since.
Tethering me to unattainable dreams.
Well, he might have taught me how to kiss, but now I’m going to teach him how to... well, you get the idea.
I’ll tempt fate, tantalize Falcon, and resurrect a fierce hunger between the two of us.
And then I’ll be the one to walk away.

I left my best friend’s little sister, Emory Brooks planted firmly in my past.
Or so I’d thought.
Those pink girl-next-door lips of hers belonged in our sleepy hometown where I couldn’t reach them.
I’d taught her how to kiss...specifically, how to kiss me.
Then I’d left.
She deserved better than my tattered soul.
Now she’s here. All grown up. In my neighborhood. In my pub.
And the subject of my friend’s desire.
My job...charm the ladies while my man goes for the prize.
But not when the prize is Emory. He can have anyone else…but never her.
I’m the wingman... and I’m about to go rogue.

AUTHOR BIO

Casey Hagen pens her snarky, passionate stories from the salty air of Kennebunk, Maine. She’s a born and raised Vermont native, a New England girl to the core, with Ben & Jerry’s in her heart and real Vermont maple syrup pumping through her veins.

She’s the proud mother of three girls and a new, first-time grandma with an insatiable addiction to Fall Out Boy, and a new, rather concerning obsession with tattoos and piercings. Can you say “cool grandma?”

The inked and pierced grandma spends her time tucked away in her office, coated in cat hair, alternating between tearing her hair out trying to find the perfect words and being one step ahead of her three scheming fur babies she is positive are plotting her demise with every swirl around her ankles at the top of her office stairs.
She loves writing stories about real people, with complicated histories, relatable everyday problems, and giving them the hard-won happily-ever-afters they deserve.

And she thanks every last one of you who picks up one of her stories.

Casey is done talking about herself in the third person.

*Casey out*

Happy New Year!

 Happy New Year!

I can't believe how crazy 2020 was. I feel like we were living a book that we are still far away from the final chapter. Between real life and home schooling my now 11 year old with 5th has eaten my soul. I miss reading, blogging, baking being crafty and a big part of who I am. I'm ready to re-find my love of my passions this year. I've been looking forward to the new year for months, new goals, and new adventures.

My goals are simple this year.

Blog more.

Bake more.

Craft more.

More original content.

I'm looking forward to the new year. I'm ready to re-find myself my loves again. Plus I have so many books I want to read.

I didn't love the change to bloggers format I find it frustrating at times and makes me nutty. Creating new content and modify my old has been rough. I'm determined to get used to it this year and evolve with it.

Here is to the new year. New challenges. New Adventures.
