The Sunday Post
Hosted by:

The Sunday post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer~ It's a chance to share new ~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

Happy Sunday Funday!

The weather is slowly starting to cool off, at last, I just wish it would stay in the 70's all the time so it's still shorts weather but not so hot you can't do stuff outside.  I keep hoping we will see rain but so far nothing yet it's been dry so still several fires burning in California.

Not a whole lot has happened in the past week but I've been working on my plans for 2019 as it's clear I've failed my 2018 goals. I hit that reading slump over the summer just haven't been able to pull myself out of it yet. I keep hoping that will change but so far not so much. I do have a long list of comics and manga that I want to read and maybe that's just what I need to break this funk.

I'm currently working on my spread for my November Bullet Journal as I didn't use it much in October. Hopefully, that will change over the next month. I need to figure out a layout I love for 2019.

Decided it was time to take the plunge and purchased a Peloton Spin bike. I did my first ride it was awesome. Granted I've never used a spin bike or took a class before I can see already it's very addicting. Plus it's a great workout.

I've been working on plans for new original content. One of the big things I feel I've always struggled with. I'm excited to share the new stuff I'm working on with you all.

What you may have missed the past week
Newly Added

Crafty projects & Baking/cooking & Gardening
I'm currently working on a hooded crochet hat. If it works out I'm going to make a few of them. As well as a few of these stuffed pocket fox's. I've got a few pasta dishes on the list but not sure 100% which ones I want to try just yet.

Quote/ fun stuff
This one was shared on Facebook by Other Perspectives I thought it was a great one.

What I've been watching recently..
I binge watched the entire Underworld Series. It's still one of my favorites when it comes to kick ass vampires.

I spent one morning watching both the Pacific Rm movies. The first one is on my top 5 all-time fave moves. The 2nd ones is still good just not as good as the original.

A little bit of Destiny 2 this week with the guys. Not too much.

I hope everyone has a great week.

  1. I've been hearing about Spin Bikes. I always wonder if a bike is as good at exercise, because doens't it just work your lower body? I do need to find something that works though, so hopefully you have success with it! I enjoyed the first Pacific Rim movie, will probably try to watch the 2nd when I get a chance. Hope you have a good week!
    Check out my Sunday Post

  2. I'm so sorry you have had a reading slump. I'm in more of a reading frenzy. I want to read everything and I'm reading lots.

I also wish it could be 70-85 all the time. It is in that range more here in NC than it was in MN. This year it seemed to go right from the 90s then 2 hurricanes and bam 60s. It's still nice but it's getting into the 40s even 30s at night.

Also I loved Pacific Rim, the first one. Obviously - Charlie Hunnam. Anne - Books of My Heart
