It's Sunday Funday

The weather has been chilly and a little rainy. I love the rain but my dogs love it more because it means muddy footprints all over the floor. My husky is notorious for laying out in the rain and coming inside soaked but thankfully he was bribed to stay inside. The hound isn't a fan of cold I feel like she needs a sweater.
My teenager finished all his first semester finals and looks like we may pass all but one. It kills me he's terrible in English but maybe we can make it up next semester. My little one is doing great but she doesn't love to read which drives me nuts. I've been picking out books hoping she will like them.

This past week I was awarded top 200 book blogs on Feedspot recently. I was so excited when I received the email it's a great accomplishment. Currently, The Reading Diaries is ranked at 100 exactly. I picked up this year ages ago but never seemed to find a way to use it. Decided to make a few Granny Squares but once I started I couldn't stop and now it's turned into a blanket.

This has become my new nightly routine once the kids are in bed. The hubby sits next to me playing Xbox and I read. It sounds boring but it's how we spend our evenings together.

Instagram

I read this one last week and really enjoyed it. My husbands family is Italian so family get-togethers are always full of wine. I decided in 2018 I'm going to learn to love wine. I've tried a few so far but this is my favorite.
