Escaping a cheating ex, finance whiz Sara Dillon’s moved to New York City and is looking for excitement and passion without a lot of strings attached. So meeting the irresistible, sexy Brit at a dance club should have meant nothing more than a night’s fun. But the manner—and speed—with which he melts her inhibitions turns him from a one-time hookup and into her Beautiful Stranger.

The whole city knows that Max Stella loves women, not that he’s ever found one he particularly wants to keep around. Despite pulling in plenty with his Wall Street bad boy charm, it’s not until Sara—and the wild photos she lets him take of her—that he starts wondering if there’s someone for him outside of the bedroom.

Hooking up in places where anybody could catch them, the only thing scarier for Sara than getting caught in public is having Max get too close in private.
Review
I received Beautiful Stranger in return for an honest review from the publisher.

This is the 2nd book in the series telling the story of Sara who’s just left Chicago following Chloe in her new adventure in New York. This will be a chance for Sara to start over after breaking it off with her long-time cheating boyfriend. However, she’s not looking for anything serious she’s hoping to have a little fun. When a night out with the girls turns into a steamy moment with a beautiful stranger it’s all in fun not like she will see him again.

Little did she know at the time that Max isn’t easy to get over and he won’t be able to get over her so easy either. He even tracks her down after learning that she’s working with Bennett he’s old mate from when he was in Europe. What starts out as no strings attached hookup quickly developed into more but Sara isn’t willing to fall for his life just yet, after all, she’s still hurting from the lies when she was with Andy. Will Max be able to prove to her that they belong together?

I love getting to know more of Sara we are giving a little bit of her in the first book and she did help bring Bennett and Chloe together after things went south. I have to admit I wasn’t sure about Sara’s plan to just have sex without the intimate emotions at first but even from the start, it was clear they both had a connection. I love that even though it’s supposed to be no strings attached they both find themselves falling head over heels anxiously waiting for their next encounter. I love that they have this sizzling chemistry together, they just complement each other so well and it works perfectly.

I loved the first book and when I saw it was about Sara I knew that I would love it as much if not more. I still love Chloe and Bennett they are my favorite but this duo is a close second. I love that Sara got away from her toxic relationship with a chance of scenery that allowed her to grow into the woman that Max fell in love with. I really love how the authors intertwine characters from the prior book into the new book, it’s always hard to say goodbye and I don’t. I enjoy the writing style while it’s a steamy series it doesn’t lack in story and it’s hard to put down because it’s beautifully written. I can’t wait to dive into the next book in the series. I’m curious to see who will get there happy ever after next. I highly recommend one of my new favorite series it’s just stunningly done. Love it!!!!!

  1. I didn't enjoy this one as much as the first one. I wanted a little more to the relationship I think.

But I absolutely adored Beautiful Player (book 3) so I hope you enjoy it as well!
