Top Ten Tuesday!
Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke And The Brookish. Who doesn't love lists. They make life easy! And fun!! It's always a never ending topic.
I'm playing around with my own graphic I'll be trying a few out of the next month. I want one unique to me.
This week's topic:
Top ten books people keep telling me to read.
I try really hard to read the books that are suggested to me.
1. & 2. Game of Thrones by George R.R. Martin & Outlander by Diana Gabaldon - both of these have been suggested to me in the past but they both are part of a series and each book is huge. I've found them both intimidating but one day maybe soon I'll give them a shot. It's kind of funny my hubby and I are big Game of Thrones fans watching the HBO show but I've not read the books. I just started watching Outlander on Starz with the hubby and we both find it interesting.
3. Halfway to the Grave by Jeaniene Frost - This one has been suggested to me several times by paranormal fans. I've got the physical copy on my paperback shelf but I just haven't done it yet.
4. Stormdancer by Jay Kristoff - I purchased this one right when it came out. Falling in love with the cover its a beautiful hard cover on my bookshelf but with all the suggestions I just haven't been able to get myself to read it.
5. The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo by Stieg Larsson - This one was suggested to me not long after it came out and before the movie I picked up a copy really excited. I'm sad to admit that a few pages in and I didn't go past that.
6. Uglies by Scott Westerfeld - This one has been suggested to me by one of my dear friends. She keeps suggesting Scott Westerfeld's book but I haven't gotten around to it yet I hope to soon.
7. Tiger's Curse by Colleen Houck - This one was suggested by my little sister. I purchased the first book it's still on my kindle but I just haven't been in the mood for it yet.
8. Slammed by Colleen Hoover - This one was recommended to me a little while back but I'm just not sure and I've been on the fence ever since.
9. & 10. Pride and Prejudice & Sense and Sensibility - I can't tell you how many times these have been recommend to me but I just can't bring myself into the right mindset for them.
What's on your top ten list this week?
I can't wait to see what I need to add to my TBR list from everyone's suggestions.

Ooh nice mix! I highly recommend Halfway to the Grave as well! One of my most fave series ever! It's incredible!!
ReplyDeleteTiger's Curse is a pretty epic series...like really epic! There's a lot of detail to them, but they were pretty good!
