Julia Hughes has always played it safe until she learned a very painful lesson. Now Julia’s starting over with a job in the Louisiana bayou—and a scorching encounter with a stranger, only to discover he’s Lucian de Vincent . . . her new employer. The de Vincent brothers share a massive fortune and a dark reputation. Julia cares for their troubled sister, but a menacing presence in the mansion—and the ever-present temptation of Lucian—prove dangerously distracting.

Lucian’s grandmother claimed de Vincent men fall in love once—and hard. Apparently, it’s Lucian’s turn. Julia’s compassionate care of his twin makes Lucian want to lay himself bare. But some secrets are better for Julia not to know.

The recent “suicide” of Lucian’s father is the latest in a string of deaths on the estate. Someone is eliminating the de Vincents. And the best way to get to Lucian may be through Julia. . . .
What are you waiting on?

Ten Books on my winter TBR list....
This makes me laugh a little because I've been working on my winter list for #coyer.

1. Armada by Ernest Cline - This one has been on my TBR forever and I'm determined to get to it before 2018 is over. I actually forgot all about it as it was added to my growing pile and forgotten.

2. Mad Magic by Nicole Conway - I love her dragonriders series and can't wait to dive right into her new one.

3. Hotbloods by Bella Forrest -  I can't have a list and not have at least one vampire romance.

4. Cinderella.com by River Laurent - This one has been on my TBR for a while. It sounds like a perfect contemporary romance.

5. Broken Trouble by Kristan Billups - I keep meaning to get to it but haven't yet. Soon.

6. Winter's Guardian by G. Bailey - Another must have werewolves.

7. A Forever Kind of Love by Krista Lakes - I love her books she's my go-to for billionaire romance.

8. Charm by J.A. Armitage - I've become a quick fan of the harem concept. Not sure why but so far all I've read have been done well.

9. Moon Kissed by Jennifer Snyder - This one sounds good.

10. Allison's Adventure in Underland by C.M. Stunich - I can't wait to get my hands on this one. It's another harem book but it's also wonderland. I can't wait.

What's on your list?

Publication date: November 10th 2017
Genres: Adult, Paranormal, Romance

I failed…
My name is Ryder Carter, future heir of Realm Five, Minato.
I was destined to do great things, to walk alongside my fellow star knights, as we desperately searched for the woman who would lead our galaxy to salvation.
My spirit and I had failed her once, unable to prevent the chain of events and challenges she’d faced for sixteen cycles. Then, we finally found her – alive.
Within two rotations, she’d blossomed into a beautiful rose – such delicate petals, filled with purity and life. My mission was to guide her home, to where she truly belonged, as our Princess and saviour from the approaching darkness. She was more than just our Princess; I loved her with all my heart.
But…I failed. My once perfect rose, damaged by my failures. Would she ever forgive me, her star knight who’d sworn to protect her? Will I ever get the chance to tell her how much she means to me…to us?
Only the Starlight gods can tell. Please…bring my Firefly home.
~In Stars We Trust~

Tainted Rose is Book Two in the new, paranormal reverse harem series.
Recommended for 18+ audience, containing mature sexual content and strong language.
EXCERPT:
“Mako? Are you sleep walking again?” Ryder’s voice made me relax as I rubbed at my eyes.
“Ryder, why did you guys put a wall in the middle of the hall? It’s blocking me from food.” I whined.
“There’s our Firefly.” Marcus praised, chuckling.
“I can’t believe she actually called Kai a wall.” Daniel mused, his voice sounded thick with sleep.
“Kai?” I asked, opening my eyes just as the apparent wall, turned around, brilliant amber eyes locking on me. I gawked at the sight; my heart raced at the new shifter before me.
He was six feet for sure, maybe only an inch away from Marcus’ height. His wind-blown, coiffed hair was a stunning orange. Holy Starlight, a GINGER!! Like those hot guys in the fashion magazines.
He smiled, his perfectly straight, white teeth making an appearance, only adding to his forbidden sexiness. I wonder if Adam in the bible was this good looking. Maybe that’s why that Eve shifter went and took that apple.
“Princess, that’s not how it went in the bible, but I’m pleased with your admission of liking my ginger hair.” He approved; his calm voice enough to soothe any shifter.

The first novel in the exciting new Beyond the Gods series, Nectar of the Gods is a fantasy romance steeped in Greek Mythology and full of passion that will leave you breathless.
EXCERPT:
For the first time in ages, I woke up alone. One might think a woman who had spent months sharing her bed with countless strangers would be relieved at the change. I was troubled to find that I was suffocated by the empty space next to me. I only let myself linger in the sheets for a moment before I needed to get away from the feeling of emptiness.
But the disheartening dark cloud chased me as I wrapped myself up in the sheets and paced the room. Catching a glimpse of myself in the full-length mirror hiding in the corner was sobering. My eyes were glassy and hazed. My spirit was missing from them and had been replaced by throbbing red lines left behind by my night of tearful realization.
My newfound weakness was disgusting and terrifying at once. I tried to think back, to find the point where I had first become so desperately lonely. There was a time when I’d been completely indifferent to any company. The love of a man was the last thing I’d wanted, and I had guarded myself fiercely against it. I had always preferred to be alone.
Well, I supposed that was not completely true. When I was a child, I’d longed for the company of others to play with. I dreamed of escaping the prison of lessons and studies. Instead of learning to sharpen swords, I wished with all of my heart for another person my age to play pirates with using pretend ones.
I mourned for the confident, complete woman I had lost so suddenly. When had I become this lost, dejected little girl all over again?
I pointed a critical stare at my reflection. From the day I’d met Perseus, I had seen the savage destruction love had left him with. It was the kind of pain a shield couldn’t protect against. Almost all the men who frequented the tavern wore the same shattered mask, and now, without a choice at all, I wore it, too.

(The Accidental Turn #3)
Published by: REUTS Publications

Forsyth Turn never wanted to be a hero. And yet, even in the Overrealm, a hero is what he’ll be.
After their last adventure in Hain, Forsyth expected to return to the life he’d built with Pip and Alis, his days of magic and heroics behind him. But then Pip starts suffering night terrors laced with images of glowing ivy and Elgar Reed calls with fears of bizarre threats and a man garbed all in black.
But there is no magic in the Overrealm. Forsyth refuses to believe that anything other than mundane coincidence is at work—until Elgar’s stalker leaves him a message too eerie and specific to ignore. Now, he has to face the possibility that Pip’s dreams and Elgar’s fears are connected . . . and that maybe they weren’t the only ones to escape the pages of The Tales of Kintyre Turn.
And if that’s the case, it’s going to take more than a handful of heroes to save the day this time. It’s going to take an army. Luckily, Reed fans are legion.
A stunning conclusion to the series, The Silenced Tale is a genre-bending whirlwind that breathes life into the idea that the power of story lies not just with the creator, but with the fans who love it.

Seven years on and Emerson is still living on the beautiful Pacific West island of Bainbridge, helping her family run their outdoor adventure company. But if they’re to have any kind of future, they’re first going to need to confront the past, a past that most people want to stay buried.
EXCERPT:
I hear a voice behind me.
‘Need some help with that?’
I spin around.
It takes a couple of seconds for my brain to confirm that it’s actually him. That it’s actually Jake McCallister standing in front of me and not a hallucination. My heart does this fierce smash and rebound against my ribs as though it’s been violently woken from hibernation. I draw in a breath so big it feels like my lungs might explode, as if all that air is filling a vacuum and I’ll never be able to let it out again.
I hate this feeling. Hate the way the adrenaline floods my blood stream and tears sting my eyes. Hate the way my body reacts in a thousand contradictory ways at the sight of him, as though someone has plugged me into a wrong socket and fried all my synapses.
I have an impulse to throw myself at him but I’m not sure if it’s because I want to hug him or beat the living crap out of him. I drop the kayak, my hands fisting automatically at my sides.
I watch the smile on his lips fade when he notices the set of my jaw. His expression had started off wary but now I see him swallow and press his lips together, something he always does when he’s nervous.
I take note of that and at the same time notice a dozen other tiny, insignificant, monumental details about this new old Jake. I see the faded white scar on his chin—the one I gave him and the new scar cutting across his eyebrow. Then there’s his height – we were always the same height but now he’s tall. . . much taller than me. His dark brown hair is the same, though – unruly, untamed, falling in his eyes. He’s looking at me with the same mix of uncertainty that he looked at me the very last time I saw him.
I glance away, down at the sand. My whole body is shaking and I can’t seem to get it under control.
‘Em?’ I hear him say.
My head flies up before I can stop it. No one calls me that any more. His voice is deeper, mellower. The inflection though when he says my name is still just the same… and instantly something inside me starts coming undone. Jake always used to say my name like it belonged to him, and only him.

Trailer

Excerpt

I rip off my drenched clothes on my way into the locker room while cursing her name. With every slam of my fist into the shower tile, I hear a telltale cracking sound, letting me know I’ve gone too far. Closing my eyes, I brace both palms against the fractured material as water pelts me from overhead and try to control myself. I’m in debt enough. I’d be an idiot to willingly destroy property I can’t afford to repair. Admitting that to myself pisses me off even more, causing me to want to rip down every piece and smash it against the concrete floor with my bare hands.

Within thirty seconds of standing there, my senses go into overload. As usual, I smell her before I see her. Fucking rain and sunshine. One whiff and my cock stands at attention, curling into my stomach as if nudging me toward her.

"If you're gonna be in here, Starshine, you're gonna be naked." I don't have to turn around to know she's scowling. I feel the fury vibrating off her, and it makes me smile. Choosing to ignore her, I continue to lather myself, making an unnecessary production of soaping my chest and biceps.

"I—I should go," she finally stammers. When she makes no move to leave, I know I’ve got her.

"What's your hurry, sweetheart? You've got another half hour on the clock. Leaving before your assigned time is over and without my signature puts you in breach of contract." I glance down, making sure to drag her eyes along with mine. "And it appears I have no place to hide a pen on me, does it?"

The old Carrick was self-conscious about his body, hiding it behind layers of sweltering clothes. However, the new Cary is well aware that hours in the ring has transformed it. Men grab their women and women grab something to steady themselves when I’m around. I'm far from shy now and making Shiloh sweat a little is an added perk of my game.

Besides, I want her to look. I already know her almond-shaped eyes are glued to my ass, but I need more. There's a raging fire in my veins that needs her so enthralled with me that she forgets to breathe.

"Cary..." She tries one last time, but I'm done pretending. My name is name barely out of her mouth when I turn to face her, fighting the smirk that's dying to betray me.

As I expect, her eyes drop then widen as she scans what I have to offer. I fight the urge to give it a few strokes just to fuck with her.

"You're naked," she says, her voice barely above a whisper.

"Yeah, see that seems to be the problem here, Shy."

"Problem?"

"I told you, we have house rules around here. The first one is that if you're in the locker room while someone else is naked and showering, you'd better be naked and showering too." I don't realize I'm moving until she takes a step backward, her palms shooting out in front of her in battle ready stance.

"I'm not taking my clothes off, Cary."

"Fair enough." I stalk her like prey, guiding her into a useless half circle until she realizes too late she’s backed against the chipped blue shower tile. "I'll do it for you."
