The Sunday Post

The Sunday Post
Hosted by:

The Sunday post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer~ It's a chance to share new ~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

Happy Sunday Funday!
My husband had the week off so we have been hanging out together. Super nerdy as we've been playing the xbox game Ark together. Thankfully he's headed back to work because I feel like I've spent way too much time on this game. At least it's a game I can walk away from and he has friends he can play with so we can get back to our routine. Sometimes it's nice to be super nerdy, and we had lots of trips out of the house to break up the gaming. The kids had a great time being super nerdy and playing with friends. I'm sad to say he has to head back to work but thankful that we can start our routine again.

I didn't read as much as I would have liked on this mini staycation but I'm sure it will be easy to get back into the groove. I've got lots of great books to read before the end of the year and need to get on it. I still hope to hit my goal of 250 so lots of reading to get done.

It was a nice quiet week perfect for the heat, and hopefully, this coming week won't be so hot. I need to start making cold brew coffee because I'm not feeling hot coffee when we are in triple digits.

It's been on a foodie kick this week. I made three cheesecakes.
2 key lime and one mint chocolate

I made my first batch of homemade pickles this week. So yummy! I can't wait to make more. I want to make spicy pickles next. I also made homemade chicken enchiladas. They are one of my favorite super easy meals.

Nothing new but I'll take a picture of my grass this week.

Bullet Journaling
Totally slacked didn't use it last week so back to the drawing board. I love it but it's become forgotten during my husband's leave.
