Review

I received Broken Mate in return for ah honest review from the author.

The war is growing as alliances are being drawn in the sand. The shifters have taken a stand against the council leaving them on the doorstep of the resistance. Things are starting to take a positive spin as they are starting to change but it's short lived as the darkness is looming around every corner. 

I love Aria and Sariel even if they aren't in "love exactly" yet with each other the connection they have is sweet and not rushed. I found it refreshing that they have this amazing bond but it's not forcing insta love. It really just forced them together so they could figure out their relationship at their own pace. I love getting to know more of the group as the series has progressed I love Reese she's my second favorite character as the only human tossed among the monsters.

I love this series so much it's been a very emotional whirlwind ride and I'm not ready for it to end. That author has done a beautiful job creating a captivating story that is hard to put down. I ended up reading Broken Mate in one afternoon. I loved every moment of it even when it made me cry because of the story. The Fallen Mate series is beautifully written it's my favorite by the author she's done an amazing job creating a story that just get's better with each book.  

 I'm not sure if I'm ready for it all to end yet I want more. I feel like I could easily do several more books in this series alone. Plus maybe more books set in this world. The hybrids is an interesting concept the author has put her own unique twist on it. I love the different twist on the werewolves and angels I found it refreshing and intriguing. Highly recommend this series if you are a fan of paranormal romance the author does an excellent job creating a beautiful story and world. 

Throwback Thursday

Review

I received Bloody Sweet in return for an honest review from the publisher. 

Naerim is not a popular girl instead she's kind of an outcast bullied by the popular girls and finds herself all alone. That is till an ancient vampire gets tied to her now she will never be alone. At least till he's turned into a human.

I honestly loved the characters in Bloody Sweet Naerim is such a sweetie even thought she lets the girls at school bully and walk all over her. While Fetechou is the complete opposite he's high strung and all over the place. A perfect complement to Naerim. They have this adorable connection that just works so well. 

This is my first book by the author and I'm addicted her artwork and the story it's a beautiful and fun start to a cute new series. I ended up reading Bloody Sweet in just one afternoon it was hard to put down and I devoured it. I really just loved the story it's one I can't wait to read the next installment. One of my new favorite series. I received a kindle copy for review and knew this one needed to be on my bookshelf and ordered a copy. Bonus it's in color which makes it even better because we can see all the bright colors.

Review

I received Battle Within in return for an honest review from the author as part of the tour hosted by R&R Book Tours. 

Emma is a mage who uses her magic to control sound and needing a break from her club she heads off to visit her brother who happens to be a werewolf living in the mountains. Maybe a chance to recharge is just what she needed but she didn't plan to meet Ryder who sets her on fire. What should have been a one night stand turns into a complicated relationship as his wolf has imprinted on her even thought Ryder isn't sure he wants to be anything more than friends.

I like Emma she's this passionate adorable character who you just can't help liking right from the start. I'm didn't start out loving Ryder I have moments when he's just what she needs and moments when I want to stab him. Sometimes his hot & cold behavior gives me whiplash. In his defense he's struggling with his wolf so things were already a mess before she shows up. I love her best friend James he sees what Ryder doesn't see at first. I love them chemistry between them all. 

I love the world building for this one the shifter community was very interesting the way they work with the humans. I love the mage concept I found it unique using the sound to create charges that change the way people feel. I enjoyed the characters even if I wanted to stab them a couple of times. .

The story is well written fast paced and hard to put down I devoured it in one afternoon. The author did a great job of balance the story with the steamy scenes. While the bedroom scenes are sizzling the story doesn't lack in anyway. My only complaint is I wanted more I wasn't ready to say goodbye to Emma and felt a little rushed I'm hoping to see more of Emma in the next book even with a supporting roll.

Review

I received September Doves in return for an honest review from the author as part of the book tour hosted by R&R Book Tours. 

Rylee has been hunting for her sister and when she finally get's the call that her sister needs her she leaves her boyfriend and drops everything to rush off the grid to her. She learns that her sister's husband has been murdered and someone is hunting for her. Arriving at her sisters house she encounters a small town with a torture past that's still struggling to survive. She's instantly drawn to Colton even though he sets her off as the pair spend more time together they can't fight the connection.

 I love Rylee and Colton together they have this instant chemistry that just sizzles and it works so well together. I had a feeling that at the first meeting that he was just what she needed. I'm so glad she ditched her loser boyfriend when she left. I loved getting to know the rest of the MC crew. Some of the supporting characters are some of my favorites. The marigolds connection hooked me so hard my mom always planted them every spring in the yard. I almost rushed out to find some but I kill all plants. 

I haven't read a lot of Robin Hood retellings so I knew I needed to sign up and I'm so glad that I did. September Doves is a captivating, action packed, steamy romance that captures the heart as well as the imagination. I devoured this book in one session it was beautifully written the author has done a amazing job creating characters you can't help falling in love with.

 I truly enjoyed every moment of September Doves till the very end. It's a cliffhanger and I was left wanting to throw my kindle across the room. I need more I wasn't ready for it to end. I loved September Doves so much that I ordered the paperback for my shelf. The cover is beautiful it matches the stunning story that it contains. Highly recommend if you enjoy Enemies to Lovers, banter, and steamy connections.

Review

Stevie has just moved to Chicago to be closer to her brother and she's working as a stewardess  for a company that flys the Pro Hockey team for away games. Her life is simple fly during away games and spend her free time at the shelter what could possibly go wrong. Enter Zanders who charm doesn't seem to work on Stevie, and he's determined to win her over. As the season progresses they can't deny the connection and when one in done is not enough will they be able to handle the fallout. 

I love Stevie she's just a sweetheart she has everything I would want in a character. She's just so down to earth and genuine. I wasn't sure about Zanders at first he's kind of a jerk but the more we get to know him the more I grew to like him. I love that he really saw Stevie for who she is curves and all, and when her insecurities kicked up he showed her own much he loves her body. 

I heard such great things about this series on social media and had to give it a shot. I was hooked right from the start the banter between Stevie and Zanders was perfect they have this sizzling chemistry. I love that we get to see the relationship bloom between Zanders and Stevie it just works so well. 

This is my first book by the author and I'm hooked her writing style Mile High flew by it was hard to put down I enjoyed every moment. Mile high is an emotional roller coaster that captures the heart as well as the imagination. I instantly devoured Mile High finishing it in one day because I couldn't put it down and had to know what would happen next. Mile High is beautifully written, it's a steamy emotional story that I just loved every moment of it. I'm looking forward to reading the rest of the series.
