Synopsis

A dark, suspenseful, and dangerous romance full of obsession, secrets, and primal intensity that will have your heart racing.

Bennett

I shut myself off years ago.

Never to feel.

Never to love.

Never to commit to anyone.

Only to destroy.

That’s my life now. I erase those who need to be removed from my city. It’s how I vowed to live the rest of my days. Until her. I was only meant to save her, but it turns out she might be the one saving me.

Peyton

I don’t need a man to complete my life; my job and my friends are enough. I have everything I need.

Until the life I know is turned upside down.

Until I’m threatened.

Now, an arrogant man keeps showing up everywhere; a man who says I’m his, a man who won’t let me out of his sight. I still don’t need him, though. I don’t need anyone, right?

If only my traitorous heart would agree.

My Review

I received The Vigilante's Heart in return for an honest review.

I loved Bennett and Peyton are such great characters you can't help cheering them on through the story. They have this sizzling chemistry right from the start. I loved that I was able to connect with both characters and they are very easy to relate to them.

I devoured this one in one reading session it was hard to put down and I didn't till the very last page. I loved every minute of The Vigilante's Heart and my only complaint is that I wasn't ready for it to end. The story is a perfect balance of story with just the right amount of spice. The author has done a beautiful job creating a captivating story.

I'm very much in my stalker dark romance era and this one was everything I hoped for and more. Highly recommend it's a quick swoonworth romance that I loved every moment of. I have her other book on my TBR and I can't wait to see what she comes up with next. Added the author to my autobuy list.

Agent Lyla Matthews had two rules in the zombie apocalypse:

1. Don’t get attached.

2. Always aim for the head.

She didn’t plan to adopt a snarky teen sidekick or lead a rescue mission against a group of power-hungry captors—but the end of the world doesn’t care about your five-year plan. Lyla’s not looking for love. She’s hunting a monster she’s been chasing for years—and she won’t stop until he’s dead.

Enter Jacob: a roguish ex-fire chief with solid combat skills, a dangerously sharp tongue, and a heart that refuses to die quietly. When his people are taken by a ruthless faction, he’ll burn the world down to get them back—even if it means teaming up with a sassy, knife-wielding woman covered in zombie guts.

They’ve both been surviving on their own terms. But together, they might just figure out how to start living again.

For fans of pulse-pounding action, banter-filled slow burn, and spice amidst the apocalypse, Dating in Decay is a darkly funny, zombie-filled romp that will keep you laughing—and maybe gasping—until the very last page.

My Review

Lyla's life changed with the zombie outbreak but that doesn't mean she's given up hunting the killer she was after before the outbreak. She has two priorities keep her teenager alive and stop the killer DaVinci. Well maybe three survive the zombie apocalypse is also on her list. When she get's caught to go into the compound where he's hiding she finds herself running into Jacob and his crew who are saving his taken people.

I liked Lyla as she's doing whatever it takes to get justice for the families and still doing her best to protect those she cares about. Jacob is a perfect partner in their adventures. He’s done everything he can to make life normal for his six-year-old son, Ty, in the wake of his mother’s death, but the man who killed her is still out there and it consumes Roman. When he gets a call with a lead while he’s at the park with his son, he looks away for one second—one single second—but that’s all it takes.

Surgical resident Madison Taylor is used to chaos, but nothing could prepare her for what she encounters in the park that afternoon. Gunshots. Screams. People spilling in all directions. She races to help, finding a little boy bleeding in the sandbox and springing into action. She knows she needs to get him to a hospital, but the last thing she expects is for the boy’s father to put a gun to her head and force her into the backseat of his town car.

Now, Ty’s life is in danger and if anything happens to him, Madison will pay with her own. Saving Ty proves to be the easy part, and she quickly finds herself tangled in the dangerous web that Roman Molanari weaves.

My Review

I received The Criminal's Cure in return for an honest review from the author.

It was supposed to be a routine run through the park but suddenly Madison is saving a boy shot in a drive by. Instead of being taken to the hospital his dad whisks her away to his home to save his son. He doesn't trust the hospital after losing his wife. Roman offers Madison a deal she can't refuse that will change her life. However, the more time they spend together the more the line blurs and they can't deny the attraction.

I love Madison she's such a great character and Roman is kind of perfect for her. I love that they both are a little broken but finding each other is just what they need. I ended up devouring this one is just one afternoon hooked on their love story. The characters were easy to connect with and I couldn't help cheering them on.

The author has created a beautiful story that I was captivated by from start to finish. It's a perfect balance of story to with just the right amount of spice. I loved every moment of it and it kept me on he edge of my seat till the very end. I really enjoyed the authors storytelling style it was easy to get lost in the story. Highly recommend if you are looking for a sweet steamy mafia romance. I can't wait to see what she comes up with next.

Prepare for mayhem, monsters, wicked banter, traps, and taunts as a cunning young thief competes against her cocky yet charming nemesis for the prize they both crave. This novel is a spicy, adult romantasy with nods to Die Hard, Home Alone, and Mr. & Mrs. Smith.

My Review

I received A Heist for Filthy Rivals in return for an honest review from the author as part of the tour hosted by MTMC Tours.

I was super excited to read this one as Mr. & Mrs. Smith is one of my favorite movies. I just loved Devilry she's such a great main character and I loved that she's a total badass. Ravager is such a great partner for her. They have this steamy connection and banter that kept me giggling through the whole book when they aren't trying to kill each other. I enjoyed the references to Home Alone while they traversed the house. I laughed so hard through this book.

This was a fast paced story with just the perfect balance of story to spice. The characters are easy to connect with and I couldn't help cheering them on in the faery world adventure. The author did a beautiful job creating a captivating story that I couldn't put down. I loved every moment of our thieves story. My only complaint was that I wanted more and I wasn't ready for it to end. It's a fantastic story and perfect for the holiday season. Every book by the author just get's better. This may be my favorite but I'm kind of partial to Devilry because she's awesome.

I loved Briar she's such a great character you can't help loving her right from the start her men are a little rough around the edges but each one brings something unique to the relationship. It's hard to pick my favorite as I can't imagine not having them all. I really enjoyed the relationship between they have this strong bond that Briar just competes.

I knew the moment I saw the cover that I had to read this one as I've loved every book of the authors that I've read. I didn't read the synopsis so I went into it blind and loved every moment of the story. Synopsis

I wrote a revenge list about my boss and accidentally handed it to my new CEO. Then I accidentally slept with that billionaire CEO. You'd think things couldn't get any worse, but spoiler they absolutely did.

Let me explain.

That revenge list was supposed to be private—the kind you write after three margaritas and burn in the morning. And that wild weekend with a gorgeous stranger? Definitely wasn't on my to-do list. (Though maybe it should've been, because... wow.)

Watching him stride onto our company stage as the new CEO Monday morning wasn't part of the plan either.

Now I'm trapped in the world's most dangerous forbidden workplace romance, where every heated glance reminds me of what those hands can do. And Jace (Mr. CEO) won't stop until he exposes the truth—unaware that his best friend is the one behind my list, and a man hiding secrets that could bring down an empire.

The question isn't whether this will blow up in our faces.

It's who will lose more when it does...

My Review

I received Power in return for an honest review.

Power is the second book in the Sinners and Saints series. The characters are interconnecting but it's not required to read the prior book but I do recommend because I love Tessa. Scarlett is a girl after my own heart, and I just adore her. She make this amazing list that just happens to fall into Jace's hands. They have this instant undeniable connection and after a weekend together it's impossible to walk away. Jace is kind of perfect you can't not just love him he's just a nice guy doing what's right.

I was hooked from the first line and ended up devouring Power in just one afternoon because I was obsessed with Scarlett and Jace's story. I love that the characters aren't perfect they have real lives that make them so easy to connect with. Plus Scarlett is a horse girl which is instant love my eyes. I loved seeing characters from the prior book and upcoming books. I just love Jace he's such a great character perfect for Scarlett.

This isn't my first book by the author so I had some high expectations and she blew them out of the water.  It's a beautiful story that captures my heart and may be my favorite of the series. As much as I loved the prior book this one may be my favorite so far. I've loved all the authors books each one is a perfect balance between story and spice. I loved every moment of Power it's one of my favorites. I loved the teaser for the next book at the end. I'm dying to get my hands on Dakota's story. I can't wait it's going to be epic.
