The Sunday Post

The Sunday Post
Hosted by:

The Sunday post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer~ It's a chance to share new ~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

Happy Sunday Funday!

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday. I feel like I baked enough food for an army and we are still eating leftovers. It was chaos and I forgot to get a picture of all of the food. But I did get a good picture of my dessert a pecan pie cheesecake. It was a great cheesecake but I feel like it could have been better so I need to try it again. We all ate a lot of food and had a wonderful day.

It's been a busy week. One of my closest friends her husband has been out of town the last three weeks so I've been spending my mornings with her little one before she heads off to school and a few times I've had all her kids. It's been ages since I've done any babysitting but my kids loved all the time hanging out with her kids so it was a great way to spend the holiday break. It has become apparent my kids and hers love electronics way too much.

I finally got out of my reading funk which is nice because I've been missing reading. I finished my current series that I started last week and I've been reading a Harley Quinn comic book.

Read this past week

Posts you may have missed at TRD since my last update.

I also received a new review book No Contest by Tara Wyatt and Haper St. George

Picked up a few eBooks this week as well.
The Red Queen by K.N. Lee
Distant Light by Chloe Adler
Serpent's Touch by Tansey Morgan

Crafty projects & Baking/cooking & Gardening.
I made some rolls this week but I didn't love them. So I think I'm going to make some copycat Texas Roadhouse rolls. I also made a yummy cheesecake but I think I need to make one for my husband's friend. I also need to make a lemon for my friend's husband coming back. Lots of cheesecakes in my future. I made some blueberry muffins but my husband didn't think they are sweet enough might try again.
