The Sunday Post

The Sunday Post
Hosted by:

The Sunday post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer~ It's a chance to share new ~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

The weather has been beautiful this week. The threat of rain is coming but so far it's been mid 70's sunny and just perfect. We worked out all week long in the morning before it got too hot for the dogs. They love going for walks or in the case of my hound dog a 4-mile run. We've now got a treadmill for the rainy days or days I don't feel like leaving the house. I even attempted to blog this am while doing a long walk. Aside from one time leaving on the speed so it jumped way up it worked. Might be my new morning routine.

I didn't get to read as much as I would have liked but the husband was home all week on leave so we kept busy. Lots of shopping trips this week but it's nice to get out and do even shopping together because most of the time he's gone. He's headed back to work next week so my reading should be back up to par.

Currently 43 of 250 and 9 books behind.
So sad because for so long I was ahead. I hope to catch up some this week. I need to read some manga's it's been ages since I've ready any.

I'm currently at 42 of 250 which has me behind by one. I hope to catch up this week.
Fun posts you may have missed at TRD this week.

New Books
Crafty projects & Baking/cooking

I didn't get to sew or craft as much as I would have liked this week. I did make brownies, I made a healthy yogurt banana pie for National Pie day,  and I also made another dessert that I forgot to take pictures of. I teamed up for St. Patty's day dinner also making bangers and mash. We enjoy getting together with good friends, food, drinks and game night.

Husband being home is spoiling me with not having to cook. He made another stuffed chicken breast that was amazing. I love to cook but it's nice to take a break and just let him do it.

  5. At the moment I am 1 book ahead, I can't seem to ever be more than 1 book ahead. 43 books is awesome! Yogurt pie looks yummy!

The weather just started getting nice so I plan to start walking again. I miss it, might be able to get my son to walk with me but I don't mind walking alone.

  6. No way could I blog and walk. LOL I'd either trip or screw up a post. Looks like lots of books to keep you company when your hubby goes back to work. And how wonderful that he's a great cook!

  7. I'm impressed with your book goal of 250. My goal is 180 and I am struggling. All those pictures of food is making me want to cook!!! Tonight will be a pot roast and masked potatoes kind of night. Have fun reading all your books.
