The Feature & Follow is hosted by TWO hosts, Parajunkee of Parajunkee’s View and Alison of Alison Can Read. Each host will have their own Feature Blog and this way it’ll allow us to show off more new blogs!
Recently Feature & Follow has gotten a makeover now each week we will have a prompt to respond to.

Any other way you like.
My email followers are low and I'm working on changing that. However, you are welcome to follow in your preferred form.  If you want to follow via GFC just in case it goes away I ask you follow a second way, email, Linky, Bloglovin'. Thanks!!!!

This Week's Prompt:

What are your favorite podcasts - both bookish and non-bookish podcasts?
Answer:

Clearly, I'm missing out because I don't listen to podcasts never have before. I've heard about a few non-bookish ones but never considered checking them out. Just like audio books it just is hard because I have kids and can't tune out the world to listen. Maybe one of these days I'll have to check them out possible when school starts I'll have some uninterrupted time for a podcast.
Any suggestions?

This week was a little tough because I've never listened to a podcast before. I'm curious to see what others are listening to.

  1. Glad I'm not alone in this one. Not really one for listening to things. I listen to music when driving tho, but I kind of zone out with it but still a totally safe driver! LOL. I'm more of a visual learner and that goes with reading as well, so a podcast wouldn't work with me.

    Here's my Follow Friday

  3. The What Should I Read Next Podcast is pretty short and child-friendly. In one episode she does a book rec for a 12 year old. It might be good for a commute.

  4. I second Jess on the What Should I Read Next podcast. You might like the Read Aloud Revival podcast since you have kids. It is geared towards homeschoolers and most of the audience is very religious - but I don't have kids and am not religious in the way that the host or target audience is, and I still really enjoy it. I'd also highly recommend Book Riot for basic book industry news.
