The Sunday Post

The Sunday Post
Hosted by:

The Sunday post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer~ It's a chance to share new ~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

I hope everyone is staying cool and having a great weekend.

Finished a couple of manga and 2 books might get one more before the end of tomorrow we will see. It's been a busy week running errands, shopping for back to school, and just hanging out with the kids. I'm ready for summer to be over they have cut into my reading. I have some reviews to write tomorrow. It's been a triple digit hot week here in Northern California and baking or canning isn't enjoyable. Hopefully next week.

I've got zucchini bread to bake this weekend but I haven't gotten around to it just yet. We've been busy. I also have some canning to do the next week.

  1. I love cooking more in the winter than summer. Canning seems like something I have wanted to try but I might wait for cooler weather.
I would love to learn to knit but I don't know anyone that can teach me and I need someone that can teach me left handed. I could try google but I need to see the person in front of me to get it. I really want to get back into crocheting again but might have to wait for the fall for that when the kids are back in school.

I need to get school supplies soon. I only have my daughters list so of course I will be running around with everyone else when school starts to get supplies for my son.

Have a great week, Mandy! Happy Reading!

  2. Yum zucchini bread. Good luck with the knitting. My mom does everything like that, I tried by I am a lefty, and do better with painting and other crafts. Enjoy your new books and have an awesome week!

  4. School shopping can be so daunting, especially with everyone else out school shopping. It's crazy. Hopefully you get moving on your knitting project. I think I would be the worst student for anything requiring material.
