The Feature & Follow is hosted by TWO hosts, Parajunkee of Parajunkee’s View and Alison of Alison Can Read. Each host will have their own Feature Blog and this way it’ll allow us to show off more new blogs!
Recently Feature & Follow has gotten a makeover now each week we will have a prompt to respond to.

My email followers are low and I'm working on changing that. However you are welcome to follow in your preferred form.  If you want to follow via GFC just in case it goes away I ask you follow a second way, email, Linky, Bloglovin'. Thanks!!!!

This Week's Prompt:

What is your most interesting bookish memory or experience?

Answer:

This one is tough because I've had so many amazing bookish memories. I'm not sure I would say any of them are super interesting. What I think are interesting to me are maybe not for others. I haven't had the chance to attend any book signings yet. I do have plans in the future to attend book events.

  1. I've only attended two author events. The first one my librarian aide at my school practically dragged me to. I wasn't interested in the author or his book. He was funny, though, but standing way in the back for an hour and a half on my feet holding my heavy purse and a bunch of books wasn't the greatest. The second one was Texas Teen Book Festival, and that was fun. I enjoyed the panels and seeing all the authors interact with each other and readers. I didn't get many books signed, but I stood in line with the same friend for books she wanted signed. The memory I talked about was a reading dress-up day. Go check out the picture!

  2. I’ve been to readings + book signings, but I’ve never stuck around for the signing part. I’m always too intimidated to talk to the authors. :)

  3. Late FF visit. I hope you're able to attend book events in the future. Although I've found that simple things are often my favorite memories - like reading in my backyard.
