Top Ten Tuesday!

This week's topic:
Top Ten characters everyone loves, but I don't get
This is a really short list because I can only think of two characters I just don't love.
1 & 2. Outlander by Diana Gabaldon - Claire & Jamie -
We read Outlander as a bookclub...I spent over a month struggling and only made it a few hundred pages.
I didn't love Claire right from the start and Jamie didn't do it for me either. Even after she time travels she's not my favorite. I just dislike her so much. I didn't care for Jamie either but he's the lesser of the two.
I've even seen the whole first season of the Starz show didn't love it either.
I'm clearly of the minority in this one.
I'm curious to see what everyone else's sharing this week.

OMG! I just started commenting on the TTT you are my first comment and this just broke my heart! JK hahahahaha I love Jamie! The Claire in the show , at least for me , it is better than the one on the book.

I'm so sorry!!!!! I feel bad because most of my friends loved it so much! I was the only one at book club who wasn't in love.... =(
DeleteClaire made my list too! I could never learn to like her. I did like Jaime though. It might have just been in comparison though! My TTT
ReplyDeleteOh bummer. Never read it myself, not enough interest in it. But totally get what you mean about feeling in the minority when it comes to certain books!
