#DustOffYourBookshelf #27

#DustOffYourBookshelf #27

Stormi @ Books, Movies, Reviews! Oh My! and I have teamed up to encourage ourselves and others to use Instagram more.
So we come up with #Dustoffyourbookshelf where you display a book that you have had on your shelf for a long time and probably forgotten about. If you have time to grab it off the shelf and read it that is great, but you don’t have to read what you display. You can be creative in your displaying or you can just take a picture of it on your shelf. We are mainly doing this to get into instagram but thought it would be fun to do a post on Thursdays since we didn’t have a lot of post normally for Thursdays.  If you would like to follow along feel free to make a post and link it below. It’s not technically a meme yet unless we get some followers! :) You can follow us on instagram @bmreviewsohmy & @ReadingDiaries

With Halloween just around the corner I decided this month will be monster books.
This weeks book is one I read ages ago.

Thirst by Christopher Pike
(Goodreads
This weeks book is the first in a series but it includes 3 other books from my teenage years.
The Last Vampire, Black Blood and Red Dice

Synopsis
As to blood -
ah, blood, the whole subject fascinates me. I do like that as well, warm and dripping, when I am thirsty....

Alisa has been in control of her urges for the five thousand years she has been a vampire. She feeds but does not kill, and she lives her life on the fringe to maintain her secret. But when her creator returns to hunt her, she must break her own rules in order to survive.

Her quest leads her to Ray. He is the only person who can help her; he also has every reason to fear her. Alisa must get closer to him to ensure her immortality. But as she begins to fall in love with Ray, suddenly there is more at stake than her own life....

Feel free to dig through your shelves and share what you find.
Please leave a comment telling me where I can check it out.

  1. Look at those vintage Christopher Pike books! I've been missing out on this meme lately because my camera on my phone has been messed up. Only the front camera works right and it's hard to take pics that way. I need to get to the AT&T store to either get it fixed or upgrade my phone.

    1. I've got several of his books stuck in different spots on the bookshelf. I wish I hadn't lost all my books ages ago in a bad move. Oh well slowly rebuilding. As a photo taking nut I would die without a working camera. I average a couple dozen photos a day. We actually just got Note 5's the picture quality is amazing. I hope your able to join the photo taking world again =D
