  1. I loved The Iliad and The Odyssey :) I love those ancient poems like that, part history and part fiction!

  2. Oh nice! I remember reading The Illiad and the Odyssey too! Though they weren't faves. I still enjoyed Greek mythology though, but more the actual myths with the gods being lead characters.

  4. I ADORE Greek mythology, so of course I totally like that you picked both "The Iliad" and "The Odyssey"! I haven't read both books in their entirety, though; in school we read excerpts. But I read enough to love both!

    As for "The Andromeda Strain", I remember seeing the movie years ago, but I haven't read the book. I should do something about that, too!

  5. Good question! I did have to read the Iliad and the Odyssey, but don't recall enjoying them much. I wonder if a different translation might help. Novels were always more my thing -- I loved Great Expectations and The Scarlet Letter.
