Synopsis
Only one girl will win the cash prize...and a chance at love with Jeremy Bane.

Monet isn’t just another lust-struck teenager trying to win the heart of Rock God Jeremy Bane--she needs the prize money from his new reality show to cure her illness.

Monet has Fluxem, a contagious disease that's spread through saliva. It's completely curable if you have enough money, which she and her single mother don't. Now that she's on the show, Monet has to work harder to keep her Fluxem hidden. She only has to keep the secret long enough to woo Jeremy Bane so he picks her as the winner. She doesn't even care about the love part; the prize alone will change her life.

But the real Jeremy Bane is nothing like she imagined. Monet finds herself fighting against feelings that make her want to give in to her attraction and Jeremy's attempts for a kiss. The further she goes in the competition, the more impossible it becomes to resist him--and when the producers turn the tables and start digging up dirt on the contestants, Monet fears her secret will be revealed before she's ready and ruin everything.

The only way to win Jeremy's heart is to tell him the truth, but confessing her disease could cost her the competition, the prize money, and him.

Review
I received Date with a Rockstar in return for an honest review from the publisher as part of the tour.  Monet may not be rich but she and her mother have always gotten by. All of that changes when she catches Fluxem the only cure is a treatment she can’t afford. Determined to help her mother with the cost Monet tries out for a reality show hoping to win the prize money. When she’s picked as one of the finalists she’s thrilled because she may just have the chance at winning even though her mother thinks she wants to date Jeremy the Rockstar.

Within just a few short days Monet along with 9 other girls head off to beautiful Key West Florida to each have a date with Jeremy which will than air on live T.V. The audience will then choose their favorites and who they think are good choices for Jeremy. Unlike the other girls Monet and Jeremy have a unique connection turning her date longer than the others and even seeing each other outside of the single date. As the pair spends more time together Monet knows she needs to tell him about her Fluxem as she starts to fall for him. Will Monet want the prize money more than she wants Jeremey when it’s all said and done or will she want the guy? What about if her secret gets out?

I loved Monet she may be innocent and sweet but when push comes to shove she fights back. I wasn’t sure what I thought of Jeremy at first but as the book progresses he proves he has what it takes to deserve Monet. They may come from different lifestyles but they share a common interest in their art and I really liked that it brought them together. I’m a sucker for a happy ever after, and these two are just so darn cute together I love the chemistry.

I didn’t even read the synopsis it was the quote from another author who sealed the deal I had to read Date with a Rockstar. I had high expectations for the book after all the story sounds amazing and it doesn’t disappoint. A fast paced story of a sweet romance between Monet and Jeremy that just happens to revolve around a reality dating show. I’m a huge fan of the dystopian genre and I happen to love the bachelor twist I found it unique and fascinating. Date with a Rockstar is a HEA novel but it’s set in a futuristic world which I loved with domes over the cities. I loved the characters they are easy to connect with and I spent the whole book rooting for Monet to win the guys heart. I found the story captivating right from the start it was hard to put down, it’s beautifully written and well done. This is my first book by the author but I’m a fan. I can’t wait to see what she comes up with next. This one was awesome and I loved it. I highly recommend for teens as well as adults, and I’m sure I’ll be reading it again.
