Top ten authors I want to meet
This week was tough one. Hard to pick just 10 of the authors I would love to meet. All of these wonderful authors I would love the chance to meet.
1. Alyssa Rose Ivy - I'm kind of obsessed with her books she's one of my favorites and I would love to meet her.
2. Nikki Jefford - I've enjoyed her novels and actually will be meeting her in September at Boise Book Fest this fall can't wait but not looking to the 10 hour drive. At least it's my home town so no need for a hotel.
3. Nancy Straight - I love her centaur series. I'm friends with her on facebook and she seems really laid back and is very friendly.
4. Colleen Hoover - I'm a follower on all the social media she's so wonderful I think it would be amazing to meet her.
5. Patricia Briggs - I love her books and would love to meet her. This one would be a dream come true.
6. Betty Neels - My grandmother loved her books and she passed on the love to me. I like her sweet clean Harlequin romance novels. I've read almost all of them. Unfortunately she's passed away but she will always have a fond place in my heart.
7. Anne McCaffrey - The first book about dragons I read was by her. She's the first author I read in the fantasy world and introduced me to a genre I've fallen in love with. While she's no longer with us if I had a time machine I would love to meet her.
8. Michael Crichton - My first book I read with my father was Jurassic Park. At that point I read many of his other books. I just wish he was still alive I could see more of my beloved Jurassic Park series coming to life. I've read many of his book and it would be fun to meet him.
9. E.J. Stevens - I've read several of her books she's another of my favorite authors. I think it would be interesting to meet her.
10. R.L. Naquin - Another one of my favorite must read authors. I've enjoyed her Monster Haven series and would jump at the chance to meet her.

What's on your top ten list this week?
I've never read anything by ANY of these authors, but I have heard of a few. I think the idea of meeting authors that you love is great, providing you don't get too tongue tied and awkward and weird, like I inevitably would. Ooops.

I loved Jurassic Park as well; I remember reading it in grade school after watching the movie. I had forgotten that Michael Crichton passed away...so sad! He was a wonderful author! Happy reading! :)
