Top Ten Tuesday!

Top Ten Tuesday!
Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke And The Brookish. Who doesn't love lists. They make life easy! And fun!! It's always a never ending topic.

This week's topic:
Top ten Urban Fantasy I can't believe I haven't read yet

This is week makes me smile because I keep looking at this stack of 1st in the series urban fantasy/paranormal and say to my self next book will be one of these. The hubby said that I need to start reading the books I have if I want to keep adding new ones. This was the stack I made of books I wanted to start in the next few months.

Most of these I picked up years ago but never seemed to find the time and I swear the bookshelf gnome hid them so I would be forced to buy more.

Last Kiss Goodnight by Gena Showalter
Urban Shaman by C.E. Murphy
Soulless by Gail Carriger
Dead Girls Are Easy by Terri Garey
Afterlight by Elle Jasper
Wolf at the Door by Christine Warren
Dead Until Dark by Charlaine Harris
Matters of the Blood by Maria Lima
Fantasy Lover by Sherrilyn Kenyon
Magic Bites by Ilona Andrews
Witchling by Yasmine Galenorn

What books are you surprised you haven't read yet?

  1. I have ALL of those and have read one of them! I want to read them all, but for whatever reason I just haven't gotten to them yet. At the top of my list would be Soulless, Magic Bites and Afterlight. I hope you enjoy them when you finally get to read them!

  2. Loved Soulless. It's a good start to an awesome series. (Hehe, it's actually the only book there that I've read...) If you're wanting a historical urban fantasy - because if there is such a thing, this is it - I would highly recommend that book. Hope you get around to those books soon.

  3. OOoh nice! I LOVE Soulless as well! Such an awesome series!! Dead until Dark was good too! I liked the books in this series, though they are way different than the show! The early books were great because there was always a mystery. Somewhere down the line, the mystery element was lost in the series.

I still need to read Dead Girls are Easy and basically the whole series as well! I have them in my TBR Mountain of Doom! And I'm probably halfway through Christine Warren's series too! I started reading it awhile back but was reading it in the order that she says is chronological and not the order they were published in. So I have yet to read Wolf at the Door, since it wasn't "book 1" in the series order she fashioned! It was a weird story about how they were published in this way, and I wish I could remember the details. I don't think it was much, just that the one story sold first and she worked from there and then backwards...I think! LOL! She has the order on her website should you want to read it chronologically, but each book stands on its own!

    Here's my Tuesday Post

    Have a GREAT day!
