I like to go to the
English countryside when I need to be somewhere super quiet with no
distractions to work on my books. I also like to go to the English countryside
with my family and dogs when I just need a week to chillax and, of course,
read!
Recently I discovered
this beautiful barn conversion in the Quantocks. I’ve been several times now,
both for work and for chill time…

My favorite spots for
reading in the barn, and probably my most favorite of anywhere…
The bedroom! It has
everything: a king sized bed, a free-standing bath in the room
overlooking the garden, an en suite… All it’s missing is a kettle! These are
photos of the Master Bedroom… Look, there are horses right out the window!

Alternatively there is
the hammock in the garden but, as you can see, my pug, Alfie, has rather gotten
there first; he likes to read here too!
Back to the bath then…
But, oh wait! Alfie seems to have beaten me to it again… He’s such a
troublesome pug baby!
And
that’s my favourite spot to read in!
