Diary Update
July 4th 2013
I've been playing with creating my own daily feature and think I have it about figured out.

I hope everyone is having a relaxing day!. I know I plan to enjoy the quiet at least till the kids and hubby are up. I'm hoping to spend most of the day reading, which is perfect.
This week the weather has been super hot but with today the weather has started to drop to a normal temp each day getting cooler. Since we are puppy sitting we decided to hang out at home and if we walk down the block we can see the fireworks from our house so may check those out.
My hubby is making a yummy burger for dinner with a salad and baked potatoes.
I may bake a pie but I'm not sure yet. It takes away from my reading plus I'm already going to make homemade pretzels and biscotti. I've become a pretzel pro lately with cheese dip yum.

Mavis screamed like a little girl.
"I'm not going to hurt you," I said, feeling around for the window latch.
The window rose with a groan.
"You can't come in here." Mavis backed to the doorway, holding her hands out in front of her. "I'll — I'll turn you into a frog!"
"Really? That's all you've got?" I glanced around the room, a disaster area, clothes and CDs and notebooks scattered everywhere. A poster of a blonde in a red bikini told me it belonged to the boy.
My reading light was dead, so I just picked a review book off my kindle fire. Of course I didn't have the review books I planned to read this week so this one just snuck in but it's super cute and I'll have a review up shortly.
A little about me.
I'm a list junkie. I've always got several lists I'm working on.
My kindle hd fire has a app which is notebooks so I've got my review list, wishlist, tbr list, and a few others.
I'm a coffee addict a day doesn't go buy I don't have it. Mostly several cups but lately I've been making espresso 4 shot iced coffee's and hot latte's.
Stuff I never leave home without - Kindle HD, kindle keyboard, physical book, kindle charger, lotion, notebook/pen, ipod/zune/ bracelet i'm working on and a bottle of water. Yup I'm a dork but I never leave home without this stuff my poor purse.
I have a weakness for Red Shell Japanese Miso Dressing. It's so yummy I put it on everything. I could even just lick the bottle for my fix (I haven't but I'm sure I could).
I love the smell and taste of almond it's by far my favorite baking flavor. I keep saying I want to make marzipan it's another of my favorite treats just so expensive.
I'm a T.V. junkie I try not to watch a lot but I have my weakness that I watch with the hubby when the kids head to bed. However it's been a lot more because we are on a ID crime stuff tv channel kick. I love cooking, so you think you can dance, survivor, big bang, and lots of others.
I think that's enough for now.
