Throwback Thursday is a weekly meme hosted by The Housework Can Wait and Never to fond of Books.
It's the nature of book blogging to focus mainly on new releases, but there are thousands of great books out there that haven't seen the "New Releases" shelf in years. We hope to be able to bring attention to some older titles that may or not be at the top of the current bestseller list, but still deserve a spot in your To-Be-Read pile.
You don't have to be a book blogger to participate! You can put up a Throwback Thursday post on your non-bookish blog; or if you don't have a blog at all you can use the comments to tell us about a book your remember fondly.

My thoughts
I really love the movie it's one of my favorites. I've yet to read the book but it's on my TBR list so maybe one day. I've been craving to watch The Postman for a while but with the kids around I haven't gotten a chance. I think it was a little ahead of it's time especially with all the post-apocalyptic books and movies.

I've never heard of this one, but I've read some good post-apocalyptic novels, so I might just check it out. Thanks so much!

ReplyDeleteI had no idea this was originally a book. (I think I learn something new every Thursday.) Weirdly, I can't remember if I've seen the movie or not. Since I love getting mail, I should give them both a try.
