The Cover Wars: My Soul To Take

Tara of Basically Books & Rea of  Rea's Reading and Reviews together do a weekly meme where they compare covers of the UK editions of books with those of the US editions. I love this idea, so I wanted to join the fun. However I want to do a little twist and pick books off my TBR list I want to read just haven't gotten around too. Kind of to motivate myself to read more, and give the book a little extra publicity.

The aim of this is to just have a bit of fun. We put ourselves in the position where we see both of these books side by side in the bookstore. Which would we choose? Why that one and not the other?

This is my first week so I just grabbed a book off my TBR shelf I have. I have been hearing so much about this series I'm dying to read it just haven't gotten around to it yet soon though.

Synopsis

She doesn't see dead people. She senses when someone near her is about to die. And when that happens, a force beyond her control compels her to scream bloody murder. Literally.

Kaylee just wants to enjoy having caught the attention of the hottest guy in school. But a normal date is hard to come by when Nash seems to know more about her need to scream than she does. And when classmates start dropping dead for no apparent reason, only Kaylee knows who'll be next.

My thoughts

I'll keep it simple. If they were next to each other at the book store I wouldn't think twice about grabbing the US cover off the shelf. I don't care for the girl screaming on the cover. I would be less likely to buy the book if just the UK cover was there. Plus I'm a coverist I love pretty covers.
